New Year Celebrations: Achievement Ceremony

0

| By : Shannan | In : ,

What is a better way to ring in the new year than by holding an Achievement Ceremony?

Last year we started a new tradition with our girls.  On New Years Eve we all dress up, light candles, play ceremonial music and award our children for their achievements throughout the year.   Some of the awards will be serious, some may be silly, others may be milestones, but it will a great time for everyone.

My Husband and I each prepare a brief statement about what we are most proud of in our children.  We address their character as well as their scholastic achievements and present them with various awards.   It is a holiday tradition that we look forward to!
